Imagine walking into a client-facing event where both extroverts and introverts feel confidence and purpose.
Each bring strengths to the table that are essential to the success of any event whether it is a business dinner for six, a networking reception for 60, a gala for 600, or an industry conference of 6,000.
I am committed to helping professionals, executives, and organizations transform how they approach client-facing events so they go from energy-sucking time wasters to effective revenue and relationship-building generators that can even be…fun.
About Rob
I’m an introvert who happens to be a keynote speaker, workshop leader, and consultant.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve attended over 2,000 events, including networking events, luxury brand activations, and multi-million-dollar galas as the COO of various luxury lifestyle publications.
These experiences have given me a wealth of knowledge about the dynamics of successful in-person and client-facing events. Before this, I spent 16 years in the technology industry, holding various national, regional, and global client-facing roles.
Anyone who's attended a client-facing event as an introvert (or extrovert) knows how painful they can be – especially when you feel a lack of purpose or direction.
Before attending my first black-tie, million-dollar gala 15 years ago, I didn’t own a tux. As someone who was never a part of the “cool crowd” in high school or college, the idea of being in a room with CEOs, billionaires, and celebrities was terrifying.
How could a nerdy introvert like me ever feel like I could belong in a room like that? Let alone contribute to an event’s success while having fun in the process?
Through my extensive experience, I’ve learned that introverts bring as much value to events as extroverts. I can honestly say that in attending those 2,000+ events, I have never been to a successful one that does not have a mix of extroverts and introverts.
Now, I leverage these insights to host keynote addresses and interactive workshops for associations. My mission is to help client-facing employees succeed at in-person events to improve confidence, boost morale, and drive sales by understanding and leaning into their personal strengths.
